FAQs
The length of therapy is unique to each person. Some people are surprised at how quickly they notice shifts in their well-being. Deeper and longterm healing generally happens over time (6 months - 1 year), depending on goals and complexity of what you're coming to therapy with.
This approach may be a good fit if you’re curious about understanding yourself not just through talking, but through your body, emotions, creativity, and nervous system. Many clients come to somatic therapy because they’ve tried talk therapy before and are still struggling with what they came to therapy for. If this kind of therapy ever doesn't feel like a good fit, I have a long list of other therapists that I can put you in touch with at any point in your therapy journey.
My rates are:
50 minute session/ €90
80 minute session / €120
110minute session / €180
If finances are getting in the way of your access to therapy, I offer a tiered pricing structure which offers varied pricing based on your financial situation. If you'd like more information about the reduced pricing options, feel free to reach out to me directly.
After three sessions, if you are feeling confident about working with me I offer packages which come out to a cheaper session rate.
Both online and in-person therapy can be effective. In-person therapy may feel more grounding and helpful if you prefer face-to-face connection. Online therapy offers convenience, accessibility, and comfort from your own space. The best option is up to you and your preferences. You can always try one and adjust if needed.
My cancellation policy is 48hrs. So if you need to cancel for any reason I ask that you do so no later than 48hrs before your scheduled appointment to avoid paying the full fee. If you are sick I use your payment for an 'extra session credit' that you can use at any time when you would like an extra session or a longer session. If an emergency comes up, I ask that you briefly explain your situation and I will evaluate offering a refund.
Yes, what you share in therapy is confidential. The only exceptions are rare and legally required, such as if there is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or in cases of abuse of a child or vulnerable person. These limits to confidentiality are explained clearly at the start of therapy.
Sessions are a mix of discussion, noticing what’s happening in your body, and supporting you to get to know different aspects of you, such as parts of that feel anxious, numb, overwhelmed or lacking in confidence. Overtime in therapy we will both develop a sense of what works best and what doesn't. But always, what we do in therapy is up to you! Some days you might have a lot you need to get off your chest and talk about, other days you may feel more called to internal work.
Working with the nervous system means paying attention to how your body responds to stress, safety, and connection. Instead of trying to think your way out of patterns like anxiety or shutdown, we gently support your body in feeling safer, more regulated, and better able to respond rather than react to life.
